Adaptive technologies are used to support support learners because it gives the students that may have a handicap an opportunity to learn the same materials but through a different process. Students that may have a mental handicap, physical handicap, blindness, or deafness, can all benefit from alternative technologies. In high school, I was in a club called Best Buddies. I would sit with students who have mental and physical disabilities during lunch.      Teachers can use Instagram as a personal learning network. Teachers can utilize it by tagging other teachers so they can see interesting posts. Teachers could also share their own personal experience and use it as a blog form. Places can also be tagged for other teachers to know where conferences, or public speakers are going on. Teachers would be able to friend one another so they can keep up with what they are doing in their professional lives. Photos and videos can be uploaded so teachers can see first hand experiences and helpful tips.       Facebook is a similar tool to Instagram in the way that it can tag places, specific posts, or accounts. Teachers can share ideas with one another and become more aware of events and conferences going on. Live streaming is another tool on these sites that can be used to get other teachers involved.

I enjoyed the web page assignment, I love being creative and making something new. I learned how to insert links in a web page and how to properly layout a website. I really liked how my web page turned out because it is colorful, has pictures, and even though it will not be read by my real students, I am excited for when it does get to become a reality.   Next time I make a website I will have more of a theme and put more information in each tab. Overall, I learned how much thought needs to go in...
