     I looked at pages from my old high school and most of the pages on the website was links to helpful tools for students to use for assignments. There was also links to the syllabus, and the best way to contact the teacher. I also saw on the teachers websites an "about me" page to allow the students and parents to get to know a little about their lives outside of class. There was also important dates posted on the individual teacher's pages. Click here to visit this webpage.  

        I will use technology to build my own website to help my students and parents. I will also use it everyday to help my students be more comfortable around technology; they were born into the age of technology and it is a necessity for them to know how to use it. Using things like smart boards, iPads, and computers, I can help my students know how to use technology and help them learn certain topics that may be more difficult to grasp without technology.
        I was not able to visit the Tech Sandbox last week because of an excused absence. However, some technologies I would like to learn more about is Google Glass. Google Glass is a pair of glasses that can project lists, instructions, and so much more, but when the aren't needed you can wear them like normal glasses and they don't get in the way. I would also like to see the 3D printing machines because it would be interesting to watch an object be created through computer programming.
